About the Wallisian Language

Wallisian (Faka'uvea) is a Polynesian language spoken by around 8,000 people on the Wallis Islands — part of the French overseas collectivity of Wallis and Futuna in the South Pacific. The US Wallisian-speaking community is essentially non-existent. Our Wallisian translation work is extremely rare; documents are typically in French and routed accordingly.
