View transcription service →Macedonian is the official language of North Macedonia, with around 2 million native speakers. It's a Slavic language written in Cyrillic, closely related to Bulgarian — the two are largely mutually intelligible — but distinct enough that documents from North Macedonia should be translated by a Macedonian specialist, not a Bulgarian one.
