View transcription service →Kekchi (Q'eqchi') is a Mayan language spoken by around 800,000 people in the highlands and Petén region of Guatemala, plus parts of southern Belize. It's one of the largest Mayan languages by speaker count. The US Q'eqchi'-speaking community is concentrated in southeast Florida, Houston, and parts of California, driven by Guatemalan-Mayan migration. Our Kekchi translation work is mostly USCIS asylum and family-court documentation, alongside the healthcare and school paperwork required by recent Mayan-Guatemalan refugees.
