View transcription service →Greenlandic (Kalaallisut) is the official language of Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark with around 50,000 native speakers. It's an Inuit language closely related to Inuktitut, written in the Latin alphabet, with famously long agglutinative words built from many bound morphemes. The US Greenlandic-speaking community is essentially non-existent; translation requests are extremely rare. Greenlandic documents from official sources often have parallel Danish versions, so Danish translation is usually a practical alternative.
