About the Fulani Language

Fulani is another name for Fula (Fulfulde, Pulaar) — a major West African language with around 65 million speakers distributed across more than 20 countries. The Fulani people, traditionally pastoralists, have communities across the Sahel from Senegal to Sudan. The US Fulani-American community sits within the broader West African immigrant population in the Bronx, Cincinnati, Atlanta, and Newark. Our Fulani translation work is mostly USCIS family-court and asylum paperwork, alongside the church, mosque, and community-association documents tied to West African religious networks.

  • Primary regions: West Africa
  • Language origin / family: West Africa
