View transcription service →Diula (Dyula, Jula) is a Manding language spoken by around 4 million native speakers and used as a trade lingua franca by perhaps another 10 million across Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, and parts of Ghana. Closely related to Bambara, it's one of West Africa's most important commercial languages. The US Dyula-speaking community is part of the broader West African immigrant population in New York City, Newark, and Cincinnati. Our Diula translation work is occasional, typically tied to USCIS family-reunification paperwork or commercial documents from Côte d'Ivoire.
