View transcription service →Aymara is an indigenous Andean language with around 2 million speakers across Bolivia, Peru, and Chile — one of the few indigenous American languages with official status (in Bolivia and Peru). It's unrelated to Quechua despite being spoken in adjacent regions, with its own distinctive grammar and number system. The US Aymara-speaking community is small, concentrated in Northern Virginia, parts of Florida, and the Bay Area, mostly driven by Bolivian emigration. Our Aymara translation work is occasional — typically USCIS civil documents from Bolivian sources, alongside academic and anthropological translation tied to Aymara studies at US universities.
